So, in this post, we will tell you about the TOP 5 Most Expensive Players in IPL 2021.
01. Chris Morris – 16.25 Crore
Chris Morris is one of the finest fast-bowling all-rounders of the current time in the world. And his all-around skill helped him to get a lot of money in the Indian Premier League 2021. Chris Morris had registered himself for IPL 2021 auction at a base price of Rs 75 lakh. But Surprisingly, he turned out to be the most expensive player in IPL history.
He was grabbed by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 16.25 Crore. Morris had been part of this franchise some years ago as well. Before him, Yuvraj Singh held the record of being the most expensive player of IPL. Yuvraj Singh was picked by Delhi Capitals for Rs 16 crore in the 8th season of the IPL.
When the Name of Morris came into the auction, Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians began the bidding for him. At 10.25 Crore Rajasthan Royals joined the bidding combat.
But It became more intense when Punjab Kings jumped into bidding for this All Rounder at Rs 13.50 Crore. After a long fight, Rajasthan Royals finally added him to his squad for 16.25 Rupees.

And just because of his performance he attracted many franchises in the IPL auction for 2021. Further, he became the second most expensive player that year. Just like Morris, the base of Kyle was Rs 75 lakh.
But it was his day as RCB and Delhi Capitals began to bid for Kyle. The bidding war Between Rcb and Delhi ended at 7.75 Crore. But then Punjab Kings started to show their purse power. After an extended fight for this pacer, Punjabi finally quit.

It is true that he failed to live up to the expectations of RCB in the first half of IPL. We hope he will do well in the second half which will be played from 19 September to 15 October 2021 in UAE. In international cricket, Kyle has represented New Zealand in 6 Tests, 8 T20Is, 8 Tests, and 6 ODIs so far.
